After many many months of hard work Church and East Ltd where treated to a Royal Inspection tour in April of 2008.  This is the first time since the fire, in 2006, that Church and East Ltd have been invited to Sealand at the same time as Prince Regent Michael.

Prince Regent Michael and Prince Liam requested our presence in Sealand to formally inspect the renovation works which Church and East Ltd have carried out in Sealand since the devastating fire in June of 2006.

We are proud to say that both Prince Regent Michael and Prince Liam were very impressed with the works that we have carried out and that the visit was a success.

"I would just like to say I am very pleased with what you have achieved on Sealand and the effort put in by you and the lads" - Prince Regent Michael.

As I think you can imagine this was a great honor for us and Church and East Ltd would like to pass our thanks onto everyone who has helped us to make these renovations possible.  We not only thank all those people that have worked for and with us since June 2006 but also everyone who has purchased souvenirs from our shop and visited our website to keep up to date with news from Sealand.  We must also thank all the Sealanders and their government.  And a special thanks to Futurenergy, who's wind turbines have powered the renovations.  Without any of these groups of people we believe that this project would not have been possible.

During this visit Church and East Ltd and The Principality of Sealand took the opportunity to further formalise their relationship by signing a contract, although the details of this contract are confidential we can reveal that Church and East Ltd and The Principality of Sealand will continue to work together bringing Sealand into a bright new tomorrow.

Sealand is now in a position to embrace the future, with tourism beginning we look forward to welcoming you to Sealand and hope that you are as pleased with our work as our Prince Regent has been.

Tourism is not the only new activity to be coming to Sealand, new business will be starting up in the country as well as media events.  Please keep watching our website for news, we will very soon be able to reveal details of an incredibly exciting event which will be being filmed this summer in Sealand.
